# Update attributes

`PATCH /api/profiles/{profile_id}/google_business/update_attributes`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Updates attributes. Value shapes by type: boolean — values: [true]; enum/multi-select — repeatedEnumValue: { setValues: [...] }; URL — uriValues: [{ uri }]. attribute_mask defaults to exactly the attribute names sent, so a partial update never clears attributes left out — widen it deliberately to remove one.

  - `location_id` string, required: Placement ID — the location's full Google resource path
  - `attributes` object[], required: Objects with a name and a type-specific value field
  - `attribute_mask` string[]: Which attribute names to replace. Defaults to exactly the names in attributes

## Response `200`

The updated attributes

- object: Google's own resource shape, camelCased keys, passed through unchanged

## Other responses

- `400`: Missing required parameters.
- `401`: Invalid, missing, or insufficient API key permissions.
- `403`: Google refused the operation for this account
- `404`: Resource does not exist or is not accessible.
- `422`: Validation failed.
- `429`: Posting rate limit reached.
