# Delete profile

`DELETE /api/profiles/{id}`

## Request

Disconnects and removes a profile from the account. This does not affect posts already published through this profile.

Profile deleted

- object: Deletion result.

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid, missing, or insufficient API key permissions.
- `404`: Resource does not exist or is not accessible.
