# Create profile group

`POST /api/profile_groups`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.postproxy.dev`
- URL: `https://api.postproxy.dev/api/profile_groups`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a new profile group. Requires a full account access API key - profile group scoped API keys cannot create new profile groups.

## Query parameters

- `profile_group_id` string

## Request body

- object
  - `profile_group` object, required
    - `name` string, required: Name for the new profile group.

## Response `201`

Profile group created

- ProfileGroup: An organizational container that groups related social media profiles together.
  - `id` string: Unique profile group identifier (id).
  - `name` string: Display name of the profile group.
  - `profiles_count` integer: Number of connected profiles in this group.

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid, missing, or insufficient API key permissions.
- `422`: Validation failed.
