# Get growth insights

`POST /get_insights`

## Request

Shows whether each LinkedIn account is growing: impressions, reach, reactions, comments, and reposts for the last N days next to the equally long period before, with the percentage change, impressions per day, and how many posts PostPen published in each period. For the personal profile it also gives followers and new followers. recent_posts lists the latest published posts with their numbers, engagement_rate, comment_share, attributes, and vs_usual: each post divided by the median of the same account’s recent posts in usual_post, so 1.3 is 30% above usual. Use it to plan content: compare the change in results with the change in how much was posted, then look at which recent posts beat their account’s usual and what they have in common. LinkedIn totals include posts not made through PostPen. The figures are observations, not causes, and small numbers move a lot by chance.

## Request body

  - `days` integer: Length of the period in days. Defaults to 30. The comparison period is the same length, directly before it.

## Response `200`

Success. JSON object; never contains LinkedIn tokens.

- `400`: Invalid input, or a confirm: true guard was not met.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `402`: Plan limit reached (for example the Free plan's monthly post cap).
- `403`: Destination not allowed for this account or plan.
