# Retrieve generated carousel files

`GET /post/output/{embedPostId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://embed-api.postnitro.ai`

- Auth: API key in header `embed-api-key`

Returns the output of a completed post. Call only after status is COMPLETED. For responseType PNG, result.data is an array of image URLs (one per slide); for PDF, result.data is a single document URL; for MP4, result.data is a single video URL. Docs: https://postnitro.ai/docs/embed/api/post-output.md A VIDEO post's result also has duration, in seconds. A video longer than 2:00 fails as an MP4, after its design is saved: the 400 then gives the error with the video's duration and the design's designId and editorUrl, to shorten it in the editor.

      - `size` object: Design aspect ratio and pixel dimensions, e.g. { id: '4:5', dimensions: { width: 1080, height: 1350 } }
      - `editorUrl` string, nullable: Deep link to open the design in the web editor, structured as <domain>/app/<editor-type>/<workspace-identifier>/<designId> where editor-type is image-maker for IMAGE, carousel-maker for CAROUSEL, and video-maker for VIDEO. Present for all response types. null if the workspace or postType can't be resolved
      - `type` 'png' | 'pdf' | 'mp4': Rendered file type. Absent for DESIGN
      - `mimeType` 'image/png' | 'application/pdf' | 'video/mp4': Rendered file MIME type. Absent for DESIGN
      - `data` union: PNG: array of image URLs (one per slide). PDF: a single document URL. MP4: a single video URL. Absent for DESIGN

      - `duration` number: VIDEO posts only: how long the video runs, in seconds, as its motion and any voiceover take

## Other responses

- `400`: The post isn't COMPLETED. When it FAILED after its design was saved (a video too long to download, for one), the design's id and editor link come with the error
