# List workspace audio files

`GET /audio`

## Request

Lists the audio files in the API key's workspace, newest first. Use an entry's id as videoSettings.backgroundMusicId (video posts) or postSettings.backgroundMusicId (scheduled reels); audioId, their older name, is still accepted — both take an id, never a URL. Uploading is done in the PostNitro app; this API only lists and deletes. An empty library returns 200 with an empty array. Docs: https://postnitro.ai/docs/embed/api/audio.md

    - `audios` AudioItem[]
      - `id` string: Pass this as videoSettings.backgroundMusicId / postSettings.backgroundMusicId
      - `name` string: Track title, falling back to the original filename
      - `url` string: Public URL of the file — useful for previewing; the API still expects the id
      - `duration` number, nullable: Track length in seconds, or null when the uploader recorded none. Independent of the video's: a video runs as long as its motion takes, and a longer track is cut off where it ends, fading out over its last second
      - `artistName` string, nullable: Artist, when the source provided one
      - `source` string: Where the file came from, e.g. 'upload'
      - `createdAt` string, date-time
