# Delete a post

`DELETE /api/posts/{groupId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-app.postnext.io`
- URL: `https://api-app.postnext.io/api/posts/{groupId}`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Deletes the post from PostNext (the post group and its per-provider
records) and cancels any pending schedule. This does NOT remove an
already-published post from the social platform: if the post was
published, it stays live on the channel and must be deleted there.
