# Delete an asset

`DELETE /api/assets/{assetId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-app.postnext.io`
- URL: `https://api-app.postnext.io/api/assets/{assetId}`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Deletes an owned asset. Note: a missing asset currently returns 500
(not 404) because the not-found case surfaces from a generic catch.
