# Look someone up

`GET /v1/discover/profiles/{handle}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.postlake.dev`
- URL: `https://api.postlake.dev/v1/discover/profiles/{handle}`
- Auth: `bearerAuth` (a scheme the document does not define)

One network only: the same handle on two networks is usually two different people, so merging them would invent someone who does not exist. Counts are null where the network does not publish them, which is not the same as zero.

## Path parameters

- `handle` string, required

## Query parameters

- `account` string, required

## Response `200`

Success

- PublicProfile: Someone else's public profile.

  - `bio` string, nullable
  - `verified` boolean
  - `followerCount` integer, nullable: null where the network does not publish it, which is not the same as zero.
  - `recent` object, nullable: The last 7 days, where the network reports it. Each figure is null when unpublished, never 0.
    - `likes` integer, nullable
