# List training agent models

`GET /api/projects/{project_id}/autoresearch/agent_models/`

## Request

Return the models a pipeline's training agent may run on, with the reasoning efforts each supports and its relative token cost, plus the model and effort a pipeline with blank settings uses. Pass a model id as agent_model and an effort as agent_reasoning_effort on create or update.

  - `default_model` string, required: Model a pipeline with a null agent_model trains on.
  - `default_model_label` string, required: Display name of default_model.
  - `default_reasoning_effort` string, nullable, required: Reasoning effort a pipeline with a null agent_reasoning_effort trains at.
  - `models` AgentModelOption[], required: Models a pipeline may set as agent_model.
    - `model` string, required: Model id to pass as agent_model, e.g. 'claude-sonnet-5-5'.
    - `label` string, required: Display name, e.g. 'Claude Sonnet 5.5'.
    - `runtime_adapter` string, required: Runtime that drives the model: 'claude' or 'codex'.
    - `supported_efforts` AgentReasoningEffortOption[], required: Reasoning efforts this model supports. Empty when it has no effort setting.
      - `value` string, required: Effort id to pass as agent_reasoning_effort, e.g. 'medium'.
      - `label` string, required: Display name, e.g. 'Medium'.
    - `cost_multiplier` string, nullable, required: Token price relative to Claude Sonnet 5, e.g. '2×'. Null when no rate is known.
