# Dismiss a post suggestion

`POST /api/v1/suggestions/{id}/dismiss`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.poster.ly`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Dismiss a proactive post suggestion so it stops appearing. Never overwrites a suggestion that was already turned into a scheduled post. Requires posts:write and a Pro plan or higher.

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: Request is authenticated but not allowed
