# Reply to an inbox conversation

`POST /api/v1/inbox/conversations/{id}/reply`

## Request

Send a DM reply in an Instagram or Facebook Page conversation. Honors Meta 24-hour messaging windows. Threads has no DMs. Requires posts:write, a Pro plan or higher, and editor workspace access.

  - `workspace_id` string: Optional. Omit to search every workspace you belong to; pass a workspace ID from whoami to limit to one.
