# Submit product feedback to the public board

`POST /api/v1/feedback`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create a product bug, idea, or feedback item on the same public board as the dashboard (`/dashboard/feedback`). Requires a bearer API key with `posts:write` and active API add-on access; browser-session fallback is rejected. Requires `confirm: true` after the user explicitly approves the title and category. Limited to 5 submissions per day per API key. Do not use this for tool failures (use `/api/v1/agent-feedback` for private telemetry). Never include API keys, secrets, captions, media URLs, or personal data about third parties. Inserts trigger the same Slack and Hermes triage paths as dashboard submissions.

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error
- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: Request is authenticated but not allowed
- `413`: Request payload is too large for this endpoint
- `429`: Too many requests
