# Disconnect a social account

`DELETE /api/v1/accounts/{id}`

## Request

Disconnects a connected social account owned by the caller. This is irreversible: posterly removes the account row, cleans up local profile-picture storage, preserves reconnect metadata for scheduled posts, archives Instagram analytics, and emits `account.disconnected` webhooks.
