# Update the active organization's settings

`PATCH /v1/organizations/active`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://postbag.dev`

Owner or admin (a manage-scoped API key counts as admin). Today that is the workspace timezone, used by the dashboard as the default when creating a digest Route. Each digest Route stores its own timezone, so changing this setting does not alter existing Routes.

  - `timezone` string, required: IANA timezone, e.g. Europe/Stockholm. The dashboard uses it as the default for new digest Routes.
