# Disconnect social account

`DELETE /v1/social-accounts/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.post-bridge.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.post-bridge.com/v1/social-accounts/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Disconnects one social account, the same as the disconnect button in the dashboard. It frees a slot on your account cap. Scheduled posts that target it lose it as a destination (a post whose only destination was this account then fails instead of publishing), and published posts keep their results. Reconnecting later creates a new account id. Handy for pruning accounts a platform has restricted or banned.

## Path parameters

- `id` number, required

## Response `200`

Social account disconnected.

- DeleteEntityResponseDto
  - `success` boolean, required: Whether or not the entity was deleted

## Other responses

- `404`: Social account not found based on the given ID.

## Changes

- **2026-09-26** `c253a83f5493`: 1 info
  - endpoint added
