# Join the waitlist (double opt-in)

`POST /v1/waitlist`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.portproof.org`
- URL: `https://api.portproof.org/v1/waitlist`
- Auth: none required

Sends a confirmation mail with a link to `/waitlist/confirm?token=` on the web app. Always answers `201 { ok: true }`, also for an address that is already on the list. Limited to 5 calls per 15 minutes per client address.
