# Echo the caller IP

`GET /v1/echo-ip`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.portproof.org`
- URL: `https://api.portproof.org/v1/echo-ip`

The address the request came from, as the API sees it. `country` is present only when a Cloudflare edge in front of the API sets it (`TRUST_CF_IPCOUNTRY`); the API does no geolocation of its own, so a client-sent `CF-IPCountry` header is ignored.
