# Send the verification mail again

`POST /v1/auth/resend-verification`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.portproof.org`
- URL: `https://api.portproof.org/v1/auth/resend-verification`
- Auth: API key in cookie `pp_session`

Requires a signed-in customer. Optional verification_return: "checkout" keeps the checkout destination in the email link; no body keeps the default dashboard destination. A definite mail-delivery failure returns 500 internal; an already-verified address succeeds without sending another message. Existing unused, unexpired verification links remain valid.
