# Stage a site for activation

`POST /v1/vehicles/{vehicleId}/sites/{name}/activate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.polymathrobotics.dev`
- URL: `https://api.polymathrobotics.dev/v1/vehicles/{vehicleId}/sites/{name}/activate`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Stages the named site for activation. The activation will take effect the next time the vehicle starts. Optionally, a route and zone set can be provided, which will be loaded everytime the vehicle starts while this site remains active.

## Path parameters

- `vehicleId` string, required
- `name` string, required

## Request body

- ActivateSiteRequest: Base for request bodies: unknown fields are rejected instead of silently dropped.
  - `route` string: Optional route to load every time the vehicle starts while operating with this site as active.
  - `zone_set` string: Optional zone set to load every time the vehicle starts while operating with this site as active.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- WorldModelSuccessResponse
  - `status` 'success': JSend status.
  - `message` string, required: Human-readable message, propagated from the ROS service.

## Other responses

- `404`: Site, route, or zone set not found
- `422`: Validation Error
- `500`: Internal server error
