# Request vehicle restart

`POST /v1/vehicles/{vehicleId}/restart`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.polymathrobotics.dev`
- URL: `https://api.polymathrobotics.dev/v1/vehicles/{vehicleId}/restart`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Requests that the vehicle restart. Send this request without a body. A `202 Accepted` response means Polymath accepted the command, but the vehicle may not have restarted yet.

## Path parameters

- `vehicleId` string, required

## Response `202`

Polymath accepted the command.

  - `status` 'success', required

## Other responses

- `401`: The request is missing a bearer token, or the token is invalid.
- `403`: The bearer token does not grant access to this operation or vehicle.
- `404`: The vehicle was not found, is not available to this API client, or does not support the requested operation.
- `500`: Polymath could not complete the request because of an unexpected error.
- `503`: The requested operation is temporarily unavailable.
