# Create a blog

`POST /api/blogs`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.polyblog.io`
- URL: `https://www.polyblog.io/api/blogs`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Creates a blog for your organization. Requires the `blogs:write` scope. Fires the `blog.created` webhook.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, required
  - `vanityId` string: Optional lowercase route and subdomain id

## Response `200`

The created blog

## Other responses

- `403`: API key is missing the `blogs:write` scope
