# UpdateParams defines a (governance) operation for updating the module
parameters. The authority defaults to the x/gov module account.

`POST /pocket.gateway.Msg/UpdateParams`

## Request body

- PocketGatewayMsgUpdateParams — MsgUpdateParams is the Msg/UpdateParams request type.
  - `authority` string — authority is the address that controls the module (defaults to x/gov unless overwritten).
  - `params` PocketGatewayParams — Params defines the parameters for the module.
    - `min_stake` CosmosBaseV1beta1Coin — Coin defines a token with a denomination and an amount. NOTE: The amount field is an Int which implements the custom method signatures required by gogoproto.
      - `amount` string
      - `denom` string

## Response `200`

A successful response.

- PocketGatewayMsgUpdateParamsResponse — MsgUpdateParamsResponse defines the response structure for executing a MsgUpdateParams message.
