# List evolution chains

`GET /api/v2/evolution-chain/`

Evolution chains are essentially family trees. They start with the lowest stage within a family and detail evolution conditions for each as well as Pokémon they can evolve into up through the hierarchy.

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer
- `offset` integer
- `q` string

## Response `200`

  - `count` integer, required
  - `next` string, uri, nullable
  - `previous` string, uri, nullable
  - `results` EvolutionChainSummary[], required
    - `url` string, uri, required
