# Flight Status

`GET /api/flight-status/{flight_number}`

## Request

Get real-time status for a flight number (e.g., DL123).

Optionally pass `date` (YYYY-MM-DD) to target a specific flight date.
Falls back to mock data when no AviationStack API key is configured.

Returns: flight number, airline, origin/destination airports,
scheduled/actual times, gate, terminal, delay minutes, delay reason,
and overall status (scheduled | active | landed | cancelled | diverted).
