# Get study previews

`GET /api/v1/research/study-previews/{id}`

Deprecated: use research.study-previews.get.v2 (research_study_previews_get_v2), which also names a question's video; this version leaves a video out, so a question that shows one reads as showing no file. Preview the questions a saved Research study draft would ask, built by the same template launch uses from the material the editor stored with the draft. Save the draft with research.drafts.save.v1 first. Drafts belong to the user who saved them, so an API key cannot preview them.

- `409`: The request conflicts with current state or with prior use of its Idempotency-Key.
- `413`: The request, or the answer it asks for, is too large; narrow it.

- `500`: An unexpected server failure; retry later. Only `request_id` identifies it.
- `503`: A dependency is temporarily unavailable; retry after `Retry-After` seconds.
- `default`: Another status a product answers for its own refusal (for example `415` for an unsupported attachment); branch on `code`.
