# Get brand kits

`GET /api/v1/alpha/brand-kits/{id}`

Deprecated: use alpha.brand-kits.get.v2 (alpha_brand_kits_get_v2), which reads a revision in its own version, .potx and .dotx template packages included. Get one Brand Kit by its kit key with its current revision document, or an exact earlier revision by its artifact id. A revision a file import added reads with origin manual. It answers in the values it was published with: a version 3 revision is given in its version 2 form, and a .potx or .dotx template package, which only v2 names, is left out of the document's assetUsage.

- `403`: The credential lacks the operation's scope or role, or the operation needs a different door.

- `500`: An unexpected server failure; retry later. Only `request_id` identifies it.
- `503`: A dependency is temporarily unavailable; retry after `Retry-After` seconds.
- `default`: Another status a product answers for its own refusal (for example `415` for an unsupported attachment); branch on `code`.
