# update_clip

`POST /update_clip`

Update mutable fields on an existing clip. Pass only fields you want to change; null explicitly clears, omitted leaves unchanged. Use schedule_clip for the schedule + status combination.

- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Retry after the period in `Retry-After`.
- `500`: Internal error.
