# get_job_status

`POST /get_job_status`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.podmule.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.podmule.com/api/v1/get_job_status`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Look up the current state of a background job by its job_id (the uuid returned by an enqueue_* capability). Use this when the user asks 'is it done?' / 'is the show notes job ready?' / 'what's the status?' after an earlier enqueue. Returns lifecycle status (pending / running / completed / failed) plus optional progress notes the handler surfaces. If you don't have the job_id from an earlier turn in the same conversation, call get_recent_intent first to recover it.
