# generate_show_notes_preview

`POST /generate_show_notes_preview`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.podmule.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.podmule.com/api/v1/generate_show_notes_preview`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Generate show notes for an episode INLINE and return the result WITHOUT writing to episodes.show_notes. Use when the user asks 'preview', 'show me what they would be', 'what would the show notes look like'. Returns the LLM output PLUS the resolved prompt template (key + scope: organization/global/code_default + interpolated body) so the user can verify which prompt was actually applied. For the persist-and-write flow use enqueue_show_notes_generation. For both, the prompt-resolution chain is identical (org override > global > code default), so the preview matches what the job would produce.
