# Resolve any supported link

`GET /api/v1/podcasts/lookup`

Turn an RSS feed, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube or TikTok link into metadata and, where one exists, a direct audio URL. A YouTube video has no audio URL, its transcript comes from the caption track, so `audio_url` is null and `mode` is "captions"; pass the original link to POST /api/v1/transcriptions in that case. Despite the path, this is not podcast-only.
