# Detach a Workspace agent

`DELETE /v1/workspaces/{workspaceID}/members/{memberID}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Owner-only. Detachment cancels the agent runs in this Workspace. The current manager and canonical storage identity cannot be detached.

## Response `202`

Agent detached. Revocation continues until executor and mount cleanup completes.

## Other responses

- `400`: Malformed request.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credential.
- `403`: Only the account owner can remove agent bindings.
- `404`: No such resource.
- `409`: The canonical storage identity or current manager cannot be detached.
- `500`: Internal error with request_id.
