# Accept an account invitation

`POST /v1/invitations/accept`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.plori.ai`
- URL: `https://api.plori.ai/v1/invitations/accept`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Authenticate as the invitee with the invited email. Acceptance consumes the one-time invitation token and returns the account and role.

## Response `200`

Invitation accepted.

    - `email` string, required
  - `role` 'member' | 'viewer', required

## Other responses

- `400`: Malformed request.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credential.
- `403`: A registered user must sign in with the invited email. Email mismatch has code invitation_email_mismatch.
- `404`: No such resource.
- `409`: The account cannot accept its own invitation.
- `410`: Invitation expired.
- `500`: Internal error with request_id.
