# Cancel an in-flight run

`POST /v1/agents/{agentID}/runs/{runID}/cancel`

Requests cancellation; cascades to any child runs the run delegated to.

## Path parameters

## Response `202`

Cancellation requested.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credential.
- `403`: The resource belongs to another account.
- `404`: No such resource.
- `409`: Run already finished.
