# Verify API key

`GET /api/keys/verify`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://plith.ai`
- URL: `https://plith.ai/api/keys/verify`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Confirms that the provided API key is valid and returns the associated org context. Free — no credit deduction. Middleware validates the key before this handler runs.

## Response `200`

Key is valid

  - `org_id` string, uuid: Org ID associated with the key.
  - `is_paid` boolean: Whether the org is on a paid plan.
  - `request_id` string
  - `credits_used` integer
  - `credits_remaining` integer
  - `fallback_behavior` string
