## Request

Driver standings computed from stored race results using the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series finishing-position points table (55 for the win, 35-1 decreasing for 2nd-40th). Excludes stage points, the fastest-lap bonus, and best-effort-excludes non-points exhibition races (Clash, Duels, All-Star) — none of that is available from the source. Not pulled from a live ESPN standings feed — that endpoint returns no structured data.
