# Historical data coverage by sport

`GET /v1/meta/coverage`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.playcallerapp.com`
- URL: `https://api.playcallerapp.com/v1/meta/coverage`
- Auth: API key in header `X-PlayCaller-Key`

Oldest/newest season and row counts per sport in the historical stats tables. Use this to know how far back a given sport's data actually goes before querying it.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `429`: Rate limit or monthly quota exceeded
