# Real-time SSE event stream (Pro Insights+)

`GET /v1/events/stream`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.playcallerapp.com`
- URL: `https://api.playcallerapp.com/v1/events/stream`
- Auth: API key in header `X-PlayCaller-Key`

Server-Sent Events stream delivering live sports intelligence as it happens. Keep the connection open and receive events pushed by the server.

**Events pushed:**
- `player.injured` — new injury signal detected
- `game.score_updated` — live score change
- `game.status_changed` — game state transition (scheduled → in_progress → final)
- `anomaly.detected` — statistical anomaly flagged

Heartbeat `:heartbeat` comment sent every 30s to keep the connection alive.

**Tier access:** Pro Insights, Syndicate Alpha

## Query parameters

- `sport` 'nfl' | 'mlb' | 'nba' | 'all'

## Response `200`

SSE stream (text/event-stream)

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Pro Insights or Syndicate Alpha key required
- `429`: Rate limit or monthly quota exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
