# Issue a new badge

`POST /api/v1/auth/badge`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://pcp.example.com`
- URL: `https://pcp.example.com/api/v1/auth/badge`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Re-issues the caller's badge, for instance scoped to another organization.

## Request body

- BadgeRequest: BadgeRequest schema
  - `organization_id` string, uuid
  - `role` string, nullable

## Response `200`

OK

- TokenResponse: TokenResponse schema
  - `token` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request _(validation or deserialization error)_
- `401`: Missing, invalid or expired credentials
- `403`: The caller may not do this
- `500`: Internal Server Error _(panics)_
- `default`
