# Create an originator for scaled platform customers

`POST /transfer/platform/originator/create`

The `/transfer/platform/originator/create` endpoint allows gathering information about the originator specific to the Scaled Platform Transfer offering, including the originator's agreement to legal terms required before accepting any further information related to the originator.

## Request body

- TransferPlatformOriginatorCreateRequest — Defines the request schema for `/transfer/platform/originator/create`
  - `client_id` string — Your Plaid API `client_id`. The `client_id` is required and may be provided either in the `PLAID-CLIENT-ID` header or as part of a request body.
  - `secret` string — Your Plaid API `secret`. The `secret` is required and may be provided either in the `PLAID-SECRET` header or as part of a request body.
  - `originator_client_id` string, required — The client ID of the originator
  - `tos_acceptance_metadata` TransferPlatformTOSAcceptanceMetadata, required — Metadata related to the acceptance of Terms of Service
    - `agreement_accepted` boolean, required — Indicates whether the TOS agreement was accepted
    - `originator_ip_address` string, required — The IP address of the originator when they accepted the TOS. Formatted as an IPv4 or IPv6 IP address
    - `agreement_accepted_at` string, date-time, required — ISO8601 timestamp indicating when the originator accepted the TOS
  - `originator_reviewed_at` string, date-time, required — ISO8601 timestamp indicating the most recent time the platform collected onboarding data from the originator
  - `webhook` string — The webhook URL to which a `PLATFORM_ONBOARDING_UPDATE` webhook should be sent.

- TransferPlatformOriginatorCreateResponse — Defines the response schema for `/transfer/platform/originator/create`
  - `request_id` string, required — A unique identifier for the request, which can be used for troubleshooting. This identifier, like all Plaid identifiers, is case sensitive.
