# Remove payment profile

`POST /payment_profile/remove`

> **Deprecated.**

Use the `/payment_profile/remove` endpoint to remove a given Payment Profile. Once it's removed, it can no longer be used to create transfers.

## Request body

- PaymentProfileRemoveRequest — PaymentProfileRemoveRequest defines the request schema for `/payment_profile/remove`
  - `client_id` string — Your Plaid API `client_id`. The `client_id` is required and may be provided either in the `PLAID-CLIENT-ID` header or as part of a request body.
  - `secret` string — Your Plaid API `secret`. The `secret` is required and may be provided either in the `PLAID-SECRET` header or as part of a request body.
  - `payment_profile_token` string, required — A payment profile token associated with the Payment Profile data that is being requested.

- PaymentProfileRemoveResponse — PaymentProfileRemoveResponse defines the response schema for `/payment_profile/remove`
  - `request_id` string, required — A unique identifier for the request, which can be used for troubleshooting. This identifier, like all Plaid identifiers, is case sensitive.
