# Close a collection

`POST /v1/collections/{id}/close`

## Request

Mark a collection closed (e.g. on PR merge) and make its images eligible for the reap sweep now, ahead of their TTL.

The closed collection

- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `404`: Collection not found
