# API Health Check

`GET /health`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.pitchghost.com`
- URL: `https://api.pitchghost.com/health`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Check the health status of our API layer and verify your authentication

## Response `200`

API is healthy and authentication is valid

- HealthResponse
  - `status` 'ok', required
  - `companyId` string, required: The company ID associated with the API key

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication required or invalid API key
- `403`: Insufficient permissions
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
