# Rename content

`POST /api/v1/content/rename`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.pitch.com`
- URL: `https://api.pitch.com/api/v1/content/rename`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY`
  - HTTP bearer

Rename a presentation or folder.

## Request body

- object
  - `presentation_id` string, uuid, nullable: UUID of the presentation to rename. Pass either this or folder_id, not both.
  - `folder_id` string, uuid, nullable: UUID of the folder to rename. Pass either this or presentation_id, not both.
  - `name` string, required: The new name. Renaming a presentation changes its file name, not the title on its slides.
