# Check if business day (deprecated)

**DEPRECATED**. Call the [Get business day](https://developers.pismo.io/pismo-docs/reference/post-search-business-day) endpoint instead.

This endpoint is deprecated starting April 30, 2026, and final removal from both test (EXT) and production environments on October 30, 2026.

Check if a specific date is a business day for an administrative division.

**Note:** The response could contain outdated information until at least one minute after an administrative division update.

## Request body

- PresenterSearchBusinessDayRequest
  - `current_date` string, required: Holiday date. Format = yyyy-mm-dd.
  - `division_id` integer, required: Division ID

## Response `200`

  - `division_id` integer: Division ID
  - `name` string: Holiday name
  - `description` string: Holiday description
  - `current_date` string, date: Current date. Format = yyyy-mm-dd.
  - `next_business_date` string, date: Next work day following the holiday. Format = yyyy-mm-dd.
  - `prior_business_date` string, date: Business day prior to holiday. Format = yyyy-mm-dd.
  - `is_holiday` boolean: Is this a holiday?
  - `is_weekend` boolean: Is this a weekend day?
  - `holiday_metadata` string: Any data object with key/value pairs. No limit on length. **Note**: This field must not be used to send Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Payment Card Industry (PCI) data, or any sensitive/regulated information. Metadata fields are intended for operational, non-sensitive data only. For sensitive data, use the specific parameters designed for that purpose.   - `division_metadata` string: Any data object with key/value pairs.
