# Register prepayment simulation

`POST /v2/loans/{loanId}/prepayment/{simulationId}/register`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sandbox.pismolabs.io/lending`
- URL: `https://sandbox.pismolabs.io/lending/v2/loans/{loanId}/prepayment/{simulationId}/register`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Register a previously calculated prepayment simulation, applying it to
the loan. The request body is optional and is only used to override the
processing codes used to record the prepayment, penalty, and insurance
movements in the prepayment workflow.

This endpoint generates a [Lending prepayment status changed](https://developers.pismo.io/events/docs/lending-lending-prepayment-v2-status-changed-1) event.

- `loanId` string, uuid, required
- `simulationId` string, uuid, required

## Headers

- `Idempotency-Key` string, uuid

## Request body

- RegisterPrepaymentSimulationV2Request: Optional processing-code overrides applied when registering the simulation. The body itself is optional.
  - `insurance_processing_code` string: Processing code used to register the insurance movement in the prepayment flow
  - `penalty_processing_code` string: Processing code used to register the penalty movement in the prepayment flow
  - `prepayment_processing_code` string: Processing code used to register the prepayment movement in the prepayment flow.

## Response `202`

Prepayment registration accepted.

- RegisterPrepaymentSimulationV2Response
  - `loan_id` string, uuid: ID of the loan the registered simulation applies to
  - `simulation_id` string, uuid: Prepayment simulation ID
  - `status` string: Current registration status of the simulation

## Other responses

- `400`: A validation error occurred.
- `404`: Resource not found.
- `500`: Internal Server Error
