# Update card enrollment

`PUT /flex_credentials/v1/vfc/enrollment/cards`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sandbox.pismolabs.io`
- URL: `https://sandbox.pismolabs.io/flex_credentials/v1/vfc/enrollment/cards`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Update card existing enrolled/registered credentials in VFC accounts.

**Note:** This endpoint takes an account token - an access token encoded with a Pismo account ID. Tokens can expire quickly, which can result in a **401 Unauthorized** error.

## Request body

- UpdateEnrollmentRequest
  - `newCardId` integer, required: The new card ID to update enrollment for
  - `existingCardId` integer, required: Existing card ID with enrollment

## Response `200`

Success

- EnrollmentResponse: Response object for card enrollment creation
  - `card_id` integer, required: Enrolled card ID
  - `document_id` string, required: Enrollment document ID. UUID from Visa that identifies card in VFC.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Access token is missing or invalid
- `500`: Internal Server Error
