# Sets the allowed modes on the share (shock/vibrate/beep)

`PATCH /Share/Hold`

## Request body

- SetHoldStateRequest — Creates a new share code for a given shocker.
  - `ShareId` integer — Id of the share to modify
  - `HoldState` boolean, nullable — New state of CanHold, or null for toggle

## Response `204`

Share code should now reflect new CanHold state.

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthorized
- `403` — Forbidden
