# Delete a monitor

`DELETE /api/v1/monitors/{id}`

Scope write:monitors, the token's org must match the monitor's org.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `204`

No Content — deleted

## Other responses

- `401`: missing/invalid token
- `403`: missing write:monitors scope
- `404`: monitor not found or belongs to another organization
