# Clear a face name

`DELETE /v1/rekognition/faces/{faceId}/name`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Removes the name from this face only — similar faces keep their names. Every asset showing the face is re-synced. 404 when the face does not belong to the caller's organization.
